A major molecule produced from recurring subunits (a polymer of acrylic acid) that magically converts a liquid right into a wonderful gel formula.  It usually needs to be neutralized with a base (including sodium hydroxide) for that thickening to come about and it creates viscous, clear gels that also experience nice and non-tacky over the skin.P
